CHILDREN AT PLAY

Jan 29, 2019 |

Running along, jumping inside, rolling around in or hanging onto the tooth of a crocodile is one of many ways of having fun in the Eko Park “w DECHĘ”.

EKO PARK

Aside from the 23 metre-long crocodile, you’ll also find here a giant gorilla and a hedgehog made of stilts. All these attractions contain many surprises. Additionally there are in excess of 20 stands with games and creative amusements for children and adults. Likewise, the MaTaJa zone regularly holds workshops and educational multimedia activities. The amusement and educational eco park is located at 20 Leszczyńska St, on the banks of the River Biała.

THE DĘBOWIEC ROPE PARK

If you enjoy scrabbling about several metres off the ground I would recommend visiting the Dębowiec Rope Park. On the Maluch (Tiny Tot) course you’ll find three year-olds going wild. They have 10 obstacles to overcome between 1 and 2.5 metres above terra firma. Teenagers can climb 3 metres or higher to contend with obstacles on the Green and Blue courses. For the more advanced visitors there is the Red course with 24 obstacles and the Devil’s Pendulum – the ultimate in sky-high swings.

LITTLE TRAFFIC TOWNS

Did you know that there are actually two little traffic towns where you can teach your children about all kinds of road traffic scenarios? At Primary School No. 28 in the Hałcnów district you can simulate traffic situations on single and dual carriageways, on one- and two-way streets, at a railway level crossing, at light-controlled crossroads and on a roundabout.

BŁONIE

You’ll find similar attractions in the little traffic town at the foot of Mount Kozia Góra. Right next to it on the “Błonie” recreational grounds, apart from mini golf and a skate park, you’ll find 2 pumptrack trails. You can safely bring your toddler to one of these. Just remember to bring helmets, protective gear and suitably equipped cycles.
